Week 4 C2

A Student Response From:

Cat

I've never seen or felt snow. It's a misunderstanding to say that I'm excited, even though too much snow is another casualty. I know that even though in here snow doesn't last, it's thrilling to have the thought of being close to the snow, to the coldness and the new seasons. I can say that it's also comical that I've never seen the change of leaves, from a calmful green to fiery reds and oranges. This is all very new to me and yet aside from excitement and a new beginning I reminisce about the trees back home and the fireworks that would be falling every day from the sky instead of snow. I miss a lot of things, yet I'm excited that when I get back home, the scenery will be the purple jacaranda trees from April. Meanwhile, the cold new scenery of December will have to do.
